Clarion Alumni
For over half a century, Clarion has been graduating 18 students a year. That’s more than a thousand Clarionauts, spread out across the world. Many Clarion attendees go on to become well-known writers and win some of the most prestigious awards in speculative fiction. Clarion is not just a summer workshop; the community built over the course of six weeks lasts a lifetime. Mentorship from writers-in-residence has launched hundreds of careers; fiction written during the workshop and letters of recommendation from Clarion instructors have gained Clarionauts attendance into the most prestigious MFAs in the country.
